Beloved ones,

UPDATE ON GLOBAL PRAYERQUAKE 2004 (6TH JANUARY 2004)

Praise God! God's blessings keep increasing everyday of the conference.

We started as usual by 7pm with prophetic Intercession, praise and worship.
The first plenary session was The Crucial Call to Prayer by Sam Tukura. He gave expository message of Luke 10:1-25: the testimony of the 70, the down fall of Satan, the joy of the Lord, unfulfilled prophets and kings, the temptation of 'a graduate of law'. We were enjoined to pray that God should open our eyes to see what God has seen, that we will not see vision only but have the fulfillment of the vision also and we would not die with our desires unmet.

Moreover, because it was declared to be Europe/Australia Day at the conference, Yomi Olowoyo handled Europe: A Wasting Mission Field. We saw how Europe who was at the forefront in missions in the 1600s has come so low in the service of the Lord. Pastor Olowoyo however emphasised that there is hope for Europe. He pointed out that God's will is that Europe be righteous, because she is cardinal in the plans of God at this season. Revival is around the corner for Europe and other nations. The yoke and the burden of Europe will be broken by the Lord (Isaiah 14:24-27).
He led a serious prayer session for the monarch and Europe's revival, after the message.

Very Rev. James Ukaegbu, the chairman of the Advisory Board of Ministers Prayer Network (MPN) delivered a message on Our Homes, A Mission Field. Homes are mission field because of souls of the members that make up a family. He encouraged ministers to analyze their family problems so as to find solution to them and used the story of Eli in 1 Sam 1-3 to warn them. The ways of conquering our family members are - by being patient, prayerful, showing example of good work, having everyone in perspective, knowing them well, learning to forgive, and finally, never losing hope, for God is able.

Evang Daniel Onyechi, the Assistant Conference Chaplain who spoke next, showed that we are in the prophetic and the apostolic era. He said that the Role of MPN in the Current Move of God is to stay focused on prayer and the word of God. MPN designs programmes to raise godly leaders through networking. It wants the church to be united. That's why the forum is open for all.  Intense prayers, the manifestation of full power of the Holy Spirit and mission mindedness characterize this among other things. Africa has a great role to play in missions and because the deliverer must first be delivered, prayers of deliverance were made.

William Lau (USA) speaking on the Deliverance Night, explained that we are in the time of grace and the gospel must be preached. He said that healings and miracles encourage people to believe. Many people were prayed for after the message and they believed and received their deliverances instantly. There was so much healing and joy for everyone.

We also had about 24 Schools of Ministry and attendance of over 5,000. It was glorious.  We have South America/ Africa Day today being 7th of January. Pray alongside with us.
